The unit consists of 2 million tons of light diesel oil hydrogenation and 4 million tons of diesel hydrogenation two sets of production equipment, construction began at the end of 2006, the end of the project in March this year. Both devices adopt international advanced technology and can reduce the sulfur content of straight-run and catalytic cracked diesel components from 1% to less than 50×10-6 through hydrofining. On June 27th and 30th, Dalian Petrochemical conducted the device production separately.
Before this, because the desulfurization ability in the production is not strong, the sulfur content of diesel produced by Dalian Petrochemical can only be controlled at about 1×10-3, and it can not meet the international clean diesel standard. After the joint unit was completed and put into production, Dalian Petrochemical's ability to produce clean diesel oil in line with international standards has been significantly enhanced, and it has become the largest clean diesel production plant in China.
Dalian Petrochemical Diesel Hydrogenation Unit Launched
On June 30th, Dalian Petrochemical Company's 6 million-ton/year diesel hydrogenation combined plant was fully put into operation. The unit's output of diesel component sulfur was less than 50×10-6, which was lower than the Euro IV diesel sulfur standard. , to reach the local standards for diesel vehicles announced in Beijing in April this year.
