IC-Haus introduces conversion sensor based on BiSS interface

The German IC-Haus company introduces a 13-bit single-chip ADC that converts sine and cosine sensing signals into angular position data with selectable accuracy and delay.

Its absolute value output through the high-speed BiSS interface, the main clock rate of up to 10Mbps, can also use the SSI interface. The product has a 24-bit period counter that can be used to complement multi-turn count position data with BiSS MCD. Its output is an A/B quadrature signal for reliable counting and post-processing. This product ensures digital signal processing without delay, and filtering of input interference does not increase signal delay.

IC-NQ is the industry's first BiSS-based product, which uses absolute position data for 24-bit multi-turn counting in just a few microseconds. This product is suitable for optical rotary encoders, mechanical rotary encoders, linear displacement measurement, DC motor built-in sensors and automotive applications.

The IC-NQ is packaged in a TSSOP20 package and is powered by a 5V supply. The operating temperature range is between -20 ° C and 85 ° C or between -40 ° C and 125 ° C.
