According to the person in charge of the Shandong Provincial Department of Construction, Shandong Province is currently operating 26 gas-filled gas mother stations, 99 car refueling stations, 10 gas-filling mother stations under construction, and more than 30 gas-filling substations. The obvious benefit of automobile oil-to-gas conversion is energy saving and benefits. According to the calorific value of natural gas and gasoline, under standard conditions, 1 cubic meter of natural gas is equivalent to 1.1-1.3 liters of gasoline. After the oil was changed to gas, the average daily natural gas volume in Shandong Province increased by 933,000 cubic meters, and the daily consumption of gasoline decreased by 820 tons. In addition, the economics of gas are also incomparable for fuel vehicles. According to estimates, gas can save about 60% of the cost of fuel. According to experts, in terms of emission reduction, the advantage of natural gas fuel is that it does not contain carcinogens such as benzene, lead, and sulfur, and it is completely burned, free of debris, and clean. After the gas is changed to gas, the carbon monoxide emitted by a car in the air will be reduced by 97%, hydrocarbons by 72%, and nitrogen oxides by 39%.
