Foreign countries recover from copper smelting dust

Processing the copper concentrate containing bismuth, copper during the melting of bismuth into the main dust, material be mentioned bismuth.

(1) The Miyako Smelter in Japan recovers yttrium from the copper converter dust. The composition of the soot is (%): Bi 2-6, Pb 30-40, Cu 1-4, Zn 7-14, Cd 0.7-1.3. The process flow is shown in Figure 1.

Feature of this process is to output the smelting reduction Pb-Bi alloy electrolysis performed twice, the first electrical output lead electrowinning of lead, bismuth second electrical output electrolytic bismuth, and purified to separate lead, bismuth.

(2) Japan Guofu Smelter handles copper concentrate containing 0.4% to 1% of bismuth in Australia, and the output of converter soot is (%); Bi 10, Pb 27, Zn 12, Cu 0.2, S 12, venturi scrubbers washed by filtration, the filter cake was leached with sulfuric acid addition salt, a washing and replacement with scrap iron, bismuth output 40% to 65% bismuth, bronze drum stove with an electrostatic precipitator dust granulation, the reflection The furnace is reduced and smelted together with coke powder, soda ash and quartz powder. The crude sulphide is more than 90%, and contains less than 5% Pb. It is charged into the refining pot for refining. The process flow is shown in Figure 2.

The process includes leaching, replacement, reduction smelting, fire refining and other processes, and rationally utilizes the combination of copper converter and blast furnace soot, wet method and fire method. The process is compact and the program arrangement is reasonable, which is worthy of promotion.

(3) The Murdell smelter in Canada processes 0.03% of the steel concentrate containing strontium, the smelting dust of the smelting dust contains about 15%, and the crude smelting output of the reduction smelting contains more than 80%, which is refined by fire method. The process flow is shown in Figure 3.

This process is characterized by a full fire process. Because the soot contains high bismuth and low silver content , the rough grade of the reverberatory smelting reduction is more than 80%. The refining does not require the silver removal process, and the product is a smashing rod.

PVC pipe and pipe fitting

PVC pipe is extruded by hot pressing method after the cooperation of PVC resin, stabilizer and lubricant. It is the earliest plastic pipe developed and applied.

PVC-U pipe has strong corrosion resistance, easy adhesion, low price and hard texture. However, due to the leakage of PVC-U monomer and additives, it is only suitable for water supply system with transmission temperature not exceeding 45 ℃. Plastic pipes are used for drainage, wastewater, chemicals, heating and cooling fluids, food, ultra pure liquids, mud, gas, compressed air and vacuum system applications.

PVC pipe fittings include direct connection, tee and cross joint, and the tee is divided into 45 degrees and 90 degrees.

Advantages of PVC pipe

1. It has good tensile and compressive strength, but its flexibility is not as good as other plastic pipes.

2. Small fluid resistance: the pipe wall of PVC-U pipe is very smooth and has little resistance to fluid. Its roughness coefficient is only 0.009. Its water transmission capacity can be 20% higher than that of cast iron pipe with the same pipe diameter and 40% higher than that of concrete pipe.

3. Excellent corrosion resistance and drug resistance: PVC-U pipe has excellent acid, alkali and corrosion resistance, is not affected by moisture and soil pH, and does not need any anti-corrosion treatment during pipe laying.

4. Good water tightness: the installation of PVC-U pipe has good water tightness whether it is connected by bonding or rubber ring.

5. Anti bite: PVC-U pipe is not a nutrient source, so it will not be eroded by rodents. According to the experiment conducted by the National Health Foundation in Michigan, mice will not bite PVC-U pipes.
