The use of alkaline waste liquid to produce calcium chloride Haihua Group waste becomes a hot commodity

"Whoever thinks that the waste liquid that had previously been discharged into the sea but still pays sewage charges has now become everyone's scramble for the baby!" November 9, the reporter expanded the construction site of the calcium chloride plant in Shandong Haihua Co., Ltd. When the director of Sun Peiquan was found, three or four people on the scene were begging for him and asked if they could use the waste liquid for approval.
Waste liquid is the waste of soda ash plant. Haihua Group produces 2 million tons of soda ash every year, and it needs to produce 16 million cubic meters of waste liquid. If these wastes are directly discharged into the sea, the offshore Laizhou Bay in the Bohai Sea will inevitably become a “white beach”, and marine products such as crab crab and large shrimp will disappear.
Haihua Group has introduced, digested and absorbed, and innovatively developed the process of producing calcium chloride by using the alkali-steamed ammonia waste liquid. Waste liquids have all been used, creating a precedent for the use of steamed ammonia waste liquids in the history of world soda production. The product calcium chloride is widely used as a snow melting agent for highways and airports. It has not only become the preferred product of Beijing, Qingdao and other cities, more than 80% of products are exported to Japan, South Korea, the United States, Russia, Canada and more than 10 countries.
Han Xingsan, General Manager of Haihua Group, said that the calcium chloride plant was built to protect the offshore environment and it wanted to digest the waste liquid in this way. At present, the plant is producing 300,000 tons of calcium chloride expansion project annually. The first phase of 100,000 tons of equipment has been put into production. The second phase of the 200,000 tons expansion project has also been fully rolled out. By the end of next year, the production capacity will reach 450,000 tons.
Japan, the United States and other investors are competing to join the waste liquid comprehensive utilization team. The annual production of 30,000 tons of calcium chloride project jointly invested by the world's top 500 companies, Itochu Corporation of Japan and Haihua Group, has been completed and put into production. All products are sold abroad.
Sun Peiquan said that this year it will complete a sales income of 200 million yuan and a profit and tax of 50 million yuan. The circular economy has protected the environment and benefited companies, and employees have also benefited from it.
