Yesterday morning, the ceremony for the demonstration and operation of vehicles for the Olympic energy-saving and new energy vehicles was held at the South Bus Station of the Beijing Olympic Sports Center. Dongfeng Electric Vehicle Co., Ltd. independently developed 15 Dongfeng hybrid electric buses and 415 Dongfeng pure electric venues, which were officially delivered to the Beijing Olympic Organizing Committee.
During the Olympics, the Dongfeng hybrid electric bus will run around the Olympic Park. Compared with the traditional passenger car, the Dongfeng hybrid bus will have the same power performance, but the tail gas emissions will be greatly reduced. It will reduce the fuel consumption by 30% and reduce the external noise by about 2 dB. It will serve the Olympic venues. The 415 pure electric venues are pollution-free, noise-free green cars.
In addition to Dongfeng, seven companies, including FAW, Chery, Changan and Futian, also delivered their energy-saving and new energy vehicles to BOCOG.
