Most of the wear of automotive engines comes from instantaneous wear during cold start, and the automatic start-stop function imposes restrictions on the engine's temperature and ambient temperature. Only when the engine temperature reaches a certain value, the automatic start and stop function will work, then start the engine is called hot start. And the automatic start-stop time is often not very long. In the case of a warm start, there will be no impact on the engine.
