(3) Preventive measures for spontaneous combustion of coal

1. Mining technical measures

(1) Select a reasonable coal pillar size and keep the coal pillar as little as possible.

(3) Improve the mining speed, collect the coal in the working face during the spontaneous combustion period, and close the gob in time.

(4) Select a reasonable ventilation system. To prevent air leakage, the main fan is matched with the wind network, and the ventilation facilities are arranged reasonably and the quality is reliable.

3. Partial filling of roadway

(1) Measures taken in the event of a fire

1. The person who first discovered the fire tried to clarify the fire situation, took all possible methods to directly extinguish the fire, controlled the fire, and quickly reported to the dispatching room.

2. After receiving the fire report, the dispatching room immediately informs the relevant personnel to organize the personnel in the disaster-stricken area and implement the fire-fighting plan to evacuate all personnel who may be threatened by the fire.

3. After receiving the fire report, the mine leader immediately set up a disaster relief headquarters headed by the mine manager, adjusted the wind flow control fire, organized personnel to investigate the fire area, determine the fire source, and decisively decided on the fire extinguishing plan and organized the implementation.

4. Personnel in hazardous areas should obey the leaders and follow the evacuation route specified by the disaster prevention plan in an orderly manner to evacuate the dangerous areas in an orderly manner.

5. Adopt the corresponding airflow control method to control the wind flow and meet the following requirements

(2) Measures taken by water fire extinguishing:

1. Turn off the power before extinguishing the fire.

2. Firefighters stand on the windward side to prevent harmful gases from hurting people.

3. Ensure sufficient water.

4. Maintain normal ventilation, and the inspectors check the gas content at any time on site.

Extinguish with sand or rock powder

1. When the electrical equipment is on fire, the power should be cut off first.

2. When electrical equipment fires and oil fires occur, use sand or rock powder to spread directly on the fire source.

Excavate the fire source and extinguish the fire directly

1. In the early stage of the fire, the fire range is not large, no gas accumulation, no coal dust explosion risk.

2. Before excavating the fire source, first spray it with pressurized water, and then dig it out after the fire source is cooled.

3. The inspector can check the gas concentration and air temperature at any time on the spot. When the gas concentration does not exceed 1%, the temperature can be excavated when the temperature is not high.
