Large-scale technology for the domestic production of sulfur-based sulphuric acid plants passed the appraisal
The large-scale domestic production equipment for sulphur-burning sulphuric acid is developed and completed by Nanhua Design Institute. Currently, it has passed the technical appraisal of the group company. The technology improves the safe operation rate of the device by improving the equipment design and the thermal expansion design of large pipes, and the annual driving rate of the device is more than 99%. The building-type fully welded stainless steel converter, high-efficiency drying absorption tower system and optimized process parameters are developed. The conversion rate reached 99.8%, and the absorption rate reached 99.99%. The high-medium temperature heat energy was fully utilized to produce 1.2 tons/ton of medium-pressure steam. The comprehensive technical indicators such as the SO conversion rate, SO absorption rate, equipment operating rate, and thermal energy utilization rate of the complete set of equipment are at the leading position in the country, and the overall technology has reached the international advanced level.
